This version adds the following quality-of-life improvements:
- The window can now integer scale to fit large DPI displays that stretch the embed area.
- The game can be restarted by pausing with Esc or Enter and then pressing Delete.
- When a stage is cleared, the clear time is shown.
- More detailed information on scores and times for each stage are shown at the end of a game.
- High scores and best times are now saved.
- Text in modal popups now have an outline and adjusted colors for better readability.
- If the ball bounces against walls over 32 times without touching any blocks or the paddle, it will be considered stuck and relocated to the starting position, allowing you to relaunch.
All other game content, including gameplay balance, level structures, and used assets, are unchanged, for the purpose of maintaining the game’s eligibility for the DiscMaster Jam’s judging period. The previous build has been rebuilt as a Windows executable named Break In (original jam submission).zip.
